So the New York Stock exchange was stopped at 11:30 e.t. this morning due to technical problems, right after the global American Airlines had a computer glitch that grounded over three thousand planes. Conspiracy theories anyone??

5 years ago before I worked in the IT industry and was more active here, I would have said "Shit got haxxed".

Now that I deal with developers and users alike all day, I'm going with "Rank incompetence, final answer".
Assume that everything I say is or could be a lie.

Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.
Those who create and rely upon brilliant and complex creations are often destroyed by some idiot plugging an infected usb stick somewhere they shouldn't have.
