If you have read this far, you'll be as frustrated at this as I was and want a quick answer.
Well I'm not gonna give it to you :P But I will tell you the site that showed me it:
http://www.computerhope.com/unix/uls.htm
Look through to find out the command to navigate to the directory you want.
If you still don't get it, PM me and I'll give you another hint that I'm not prepared to give here because it will be too much of a spoiler (although it has been mentioned many other times).
And this damn well wasn't simple for me! Although I was so close so many times I'm annoyed with myself now, so don't give up!

good god this was annoying.... if you got to the point i was stuck at (tons of random named files where your name "should" be) but dont know what to do, realize that your command isnt right. check out http://www.computerhope.com/unix/uls.htm#02 again, although youve probably figured out that most commands are blocked, there is one on that site that isnt (and is the one you need) from then on, its similar to earlier missions i believe...

Its not working for me ! I tried all the commands on that link and none work

it keeps saying "Your file has been saved. Please click here view the file." the click here is a diffrent .html file everytime
then when i click there to view the file it says "Hi, ; xxxxxxx

Your name contains 9 characters." thats it! no directory listing

ive tried the command with the ../ and its doing the same thing but the amount of name characters change everytime, does it matter if there is a space in betwen the ; and unix directory command?

thanks

you have to look at whats happening you need to be inputing the specific coding language so that it sees what you are doing look again at the skills needed for this mission and do a little more research. you are almost there.

I would like to know the same thing lol
this is the first time ive ever even heard of SSI (server side includes?), i looked it up on wikipedia and am still confused.
also what kind of command will i need to execute with ssi, a change password command to the password i choose then login with that? so these would be commands that are being sent to their root server? like apache or windows server 2003?
