Also I noticed when browsing the files in the win95 proxy that clicking on a link gives a 404 error, but typing each time the complete path works

Kinda wondering why this one was so easy.. With user/pass you can do anything and it bypasses learning what were really trying to do and thats execute directory transversal on a Wind0z 95 box(atleast I think that was what it was trying to teach us..?)

Damn. i hv once opened up the admin panel page. but now i can't seem to open it. i know the directory structure(withour which i cudn't hv opened it the 1st time). on going o that directory(C:/W**/***L/")and then copying the name of the page in the address bar of the web page itsels prduces this -->Location:<location of the page>. Please help.

Just beat it after looking through here forever, just want to help people with the main issue I had...

I know, the username and password are posted in the g********. Those are the real credentials posted as spoilers by some people, but HackThisSite is about learning, not copying. There is a way to find them on your own. Right click on the g******** after you have posted something in it, and see if you notice some interesting and unique options here. There is a way, in this menu, to see how the g******** really works. No, it's not "View Source". It's really self explanatory if you've found the other secret thing (a***n p***l). I don't know how Perl works but I still finished the mission. All you really have to do is examine the g******** closely and know how directories work...you don't really have to know much about coding here.
