I'm incredibly biased so take my opinion with a grain of salt but the way I see it, in simple terms, a statement that marx made famous is 'From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs', this shows how shallow my education is on this topic(I have one quote to deconstruct) but if you look up the pareto principle AKA the 80 20 rule, it is demonstrated that in nature there are natural bell curves for almost everything. 20% of actions produce 80% of reactions and for those 20%, 20% of them produce 80% of the 80% etc. I'm not really sure how to structure my argument but I'd say that there is a natural equilibrium of inequality in nature. And communism, while theoretically is nice, in practice, human nature just doesn't work that way and you need to incentivise the 20% of 'prime movers'

It took me 7 months to read it on audible

It was literally one of my lifes noteworthy accomplishments to persist through that. Galt's speech took me several lunch breaks

I don't want to go too deep down the rabbit hole here

but I 100% recommend if anyone reading this has problems/conflict/discontent with their life situation. See how your entire world changes when you stop pointing the finger at other people and take responsibility for yourself. Even if it isn't your fault. Just the 'balls in my court' mentality can be a powerful catalyst.
