First question: What languages should I learn?

To be a hacker, I know I should know plenty of languages in order to make the hacker tools on my own, or to hack a software.
My friend gave me a such long list: C, C++, C#, Java, HTML, CSS, PHP, DOS, Unix, Python...

Ok, I know this will be my first step only.
But what should I learn first?

You left out Perl..
Anyway, it really depends on what you're wanting to do. If you wanna make websites, then HTML, PHP and Javascript would help you there. If you wanna code exploits, ASM or C would be good. If you just wanna learn to learn, you can probably pick anything and be happy. Python is highly recommended as a first language because of it's easy syntax. C is usually recommended after you've got a basic grip of programming.

You should first learn that HTML, CSS, DOS, and Unix are not programming languages. After that, I suggest something simple to get your feet wet; like Python.

How many times has this been asked in this forum? What you should really learn is how to search a forum and/or use Google. Your quest to become a hacker has already failed because you were unable to utilize the basic real hacker mantra of self-discovery.

We don't ask. We figure out it out for ourselves.
