Good luck with it.

As you may have noticed, the goal behind ebasics10 and 11 is not to teach you how to hack batch scripts. That's a moot point, since batch scripts are inherently insecure. Instead, the goal is to get you to think like a hacker to solve the problems.

Nice mission dude. But why did we get free points for it

Because it was bugged. It's not anymore.

Did you make that mission, anon? Nice catch those three primes. ;)

Mutants_r_us_guild made the original batch script for it. I wrote the current version from scratch based on his code. (His was kinda big and clunky. Lets just say it didn't use loops.) While the extbasic10 portion is uniquely my creation, extbasic11 is just a rewrite of mutants_r_us_guild's code.

Umm... well.. I see you got comperr to put up the missions.. but what the hell happened to the old extbasic10?
Oh well. At any rate, it feels odd to be on a forum regarding a mission I helped create. I feel like an HTS celebrity...eh not really... but 15 seconds of fame is nice. :)
Also.. I don't mind the free 144 points either. That's a dozen dozen, a whole gross! w00t :D

The old ebasic 10 was completely removed, it was broken, stupid, far too easy.

I might need a little help with this one. I have been crunching the numbers a bit and now find myself in a bit of a predicament.

People say they have solved this in mere seconds, but I can't even reduce the number while using the specified primes more than once. If I divide the number 1065435274 with the specified primes, then only the number 2 me a whole number. The product of that would be 532717637 which divided by the specified primes would not produce a whole number. 532717637 is divisable by 6827 and 78031. Which are both primes themselves.

So I somehow feel as though I have missed something. I have created a program with the essence of the mission given code to try a brute-force it with every possible combination up to 10 letters. It's currently working on the 7th letter and still no luck.

This is somewhat frustrating as is extBasic 10 as I can't seem to change the values I want though the /P.

A hint would be appreciated.

If you knew what you're doing, you'd know that this is not the only number that should work.

Meow.. What's with the hostility, BhaaL? He's only asking a question.
