Basic Mission 7

I cannot work this out, but I'm trying (and very new to this but always looking to learn). I'm looking through google at *nix commands, this one has really stumped me but I sailed through the first 6 missions. Hope I can work this out soon as I have been on this for a couple or three days already and want to rip my hair out

Its probably one of the first commands you will come across when learning *unix commands. Also check out how to do more than 1 command at a time.

I juste have a little problem, I've found the file where the password is written but the password doesn't work...
Maybe I juste miss something ?

Afaict this is what the script does.

The user inputs some text, let's call it X.
The script makes the string "cal X".
That script is then executed on a Linux box.
So if the user enters "2010" the command is "cal 2010" and if the user enters "xyzzy" the command is "cal xyzzy".

Note the order in which those actions are performed: the input isn't sent directly to the cal command, it's put in the string that is sent to the command line.

How would you run multiple programs with one command on a Linux machine?

I tried tons of methods off executing multiple commands, but it always results in 403 Your client sent something our firewall did not like.

Do I have to install any programs or do any downloads to pass this test or any of the tests for that matter?

Such as downloading an active perl software for basic challenge 7?

After level6 this is simple one.
All you need to do is understand how to interact with server and how can bash commands work together.
Try to understand that you already are in cal command and what you need to do to get info from the server that you are running on.
As yourself:
- how to get new command when im in cal already?
- how to get in
- how to see what's in
- how to go there and take what I found
I still don't use no tools and passing further with hands.
Level before was much harder.
My brothers I advice you all to use Google and read a lot and break stuff in all Kama poses with all power of your mind and creativity ;D

Can anyone help me?
Why if I use ZAP or BURP I get security message and all Google advices to bypass them doesn't help me to resolve this issue that I get using HTS site only...
I setup for example Zap Proxy and add Firefox add-on Foxy Proxy to simplify proxy usage, and when I try to get in level on this site HTS doesn't allows me to get in and there is no Advanced button to continue and no other option also.
Googled already a lot of stuff.

i've found the command i should use to input into the calendar output, but i'm confused as to why i should add the ; in the command.

i dont know if that violates the answer of spoiler thing but i dont know where else to post this
