Under the OFFCOM regulations of 2003 using someone else's WiFi without their knowledge is considered Theft of service and thus is a prosecutable offense within the UK however, people and a lot of bars and restaurants actually encourage you to use their free WiFi, however beware not all of such place...

I know what kind of hash it is my problem is I am on linux and cant run Cain and Abel unless I go through all the aggravation of making it run under Wine and as I already have John the Ripper installed knowing exactly what to do with John would be a plus. :D
