Re: An interesting problem

If you are receiving email notifications for joining websites that you have never joined it sounds like somebody is using your i.p. as a bot machine or you have a trojan running on it. Wut? Emails aren't mapped to IP's at all, meaning that someone simply entered your email when they tried to sign u...

Re: Hacking a poll

I've seen a website tracking how many times you've voted by using cookies. This is a big no-no. Just thought I'd throw this in.

Re: Chinese high school students to learn

You'll have to be more clear. If you're asking us to write/give/teach you to spread a trojan, you're in the wrong place.

Re: My Web site

Other mods, feel free to weigh in on this, but I don't think we should be attacking free-hosting sub-domain sites because of the simple fact that they are not actually owned by the user. This could potentially lead to legal trouble on our end. For now I am going to allow this, but I would like to h...

Re: Reverse engineering and the law.....

The only people likely to care are the owners of this program. If they are outside of the US, they may want them to extradite you. Otherwise, it'd almost certainly be United States law.

This is pretty unlikely though.

Re: operating system on 10 MB with GUI

I also like Tinycore. I have a bootable USB stick with Tinycore on it (somewhere in my drawer). I don't think there's any distro that comes with a full GUI that's smaller than Tinycore. But I have to agree with you on tweaking the OS rather than buying a new system. A customized Linux Kernel can oft...

Re: Internet Kill-Switch

Personally, online terrorist attacks targeted at countries doesn't seem all too threatening to me. I anything, attacks will be geared towards corporations for financial gain. Just my 2¢. Not to mention, if the government has something ultra-uber-secret-important shouldn't it be on a secured private...

Re: Recreational Drug Use

I think that most drugs should be kept illegal and under control. I think drugs like LSD and Marijuana should be legal for medical purposes only. That seems good enough for me. Also, cigarettes and cigars should be made illegal, all it's just fucking poison. Alcohol should be made illegal, it kills...

Re: how 2 16 yr olds hacked phpfog

I'm sorta surprised they allowed themselves to get caught in the first place. They had a good idea of what they were doing, so it's not much of a stretch to assume they knew how stay anonymous and out of trouble.
