Re: Telecom invoices

To be fair, I have never actually done any telecom paper invoice to electronic conversion. The methods I described are universal and can be used on almost any text. Turn-key solutions I do not have, that's not my expertise nor will it ever be, so your friend is probably better off looking for dedica...

Re: Arch or Kali

What's wrong with starting with Ubuntu or Mint or similar? Arch is hard if you've never configured Linux before and Kali gives you too much power to easily mess up. If that's your thing, go for it. You'll learn more from Arch than Kali about Linux starting out because of the way it's configured. Kal...

Re: crack router login and password

You'll need to scan for vulnerabilities in the software first or find them yourself, that is the easiest way. If that doesn't work, you can try brute forcing, like you're attempting. Of course that doesn't usually work either if the first doesn't, so you're likely stuck with trying to get as much in...

Re: The New EstBasic 10

Test things out on your own system, it's fairly easy to copy the script, edit some things and determine the right input to pass it. As I said before: use the shortest answer possible.

Re: How do I add an image to "useful stuff"?

Why can't the 'useful stuff' URL just link to a forum post edited by HTS staff to include the same data? You could always include a URL there for the old data. Another possibility is just adding the link above the start of the list of useful stuff with an explanation of why.

Re: Dycrypter With Python

I'm totally stuck. I've used Python, i've used C++, and I even tried decrypting the message in Excel, but I have no idea how to go about it. My programming skills aren't terrific, I am a novice/intermediate programmer. So far I have managed to print the contents of the encrypted message into the py...

Re: Telecom invoices

Paper to electronic conversion usually uses Optical Character Recognition (OCR). I'd use something like that and run a script on top of that to automatically convert it. If it contains checkmarks, Optical Mark Recognition is also required. I recall the system required for handwritten data is called ...

Re: Realistic 3 - 'Peace Poetry' Guide

Basically, forget using previous missions on the current one. Keep the knowledge (I'm not saying basic 8 is useful here), but don't use one to reach another. It's not useful for the realistic missions.
