Re: jtr infinity problem

I don't exactly understand your question. Are you asking why the hash has not been cracked? I believe LM hashes are 14 characters of uppercase ASCII, giving a keyspace of 2^43. It could very well take a number of hours to crack. Just let it run and it will eventually be cracked.

Re: Here's what I know, where do I start?

Thank you for the replies! The missions are great but I really want to learn more rather than apply what I know. So, is there any good online tutorials for entry-level web hacking any of you folks can point me to? Thanks again! "entry-level" web hacking is a slight misnomer, there's not r...

Re: 10 years

This is bullshit. Most pointedly, Hammond suggested that the FBI may have manipulated him to carry out hacking attacks on “dozens” of foreign government websites. During his time with Anonymous, the loose collective of hackers working alongside WikiLeaks and other anti-secrecy groups, he was often d...

Re: BackTrack 5 - Airoscript Issue

Please post your exact commands. I don't know if airoscript is still included with Backtrack or Kali, it hasnt seen active development in about 2 years. I would recommend just using airodump, aireplay, and aircrack individually, they're fairly simple to use.

Re: Basic help

If you are stuck on the first of the basic series of missions, you likely need to learn about HTML, mainly HTML forms. Your question is a little vague, so I'm not entirely sure what type of answer you're looking for. The forums contain threads relating to the individual missions, so check the approp...

Re: Is there any way to download FLV video from a website specif

It's quite possible, just view the source of the webpage with the trailer, find the URL of the flv file and download it in whatever way you prefer. The challenge arises in the fact that most web pages use some form of skeleton web player that reads either POST data or some other type of identifying ...

Re: Raspberry pi

Goatboy, I have had similar fantasies. I have always wanted to have an RFID tag, say in a watch or ring, with the reader near my door knob running to a RaspberryPi or Arduino hooked up to a servo controlling the deadbolt; my door would only unlock when I grab the door knob and immediately locks agai...

Re: Hacktivist group targeting financial insitutions

Is this legitimate? Have any other attacks been attributed to "Tunisian Hackers II"? I was unable to find much with a quick search.

I can't speak on the other banks, but I'd imagine BofA has some pretty kickass DDoS protection.

Re: RooT.Crypter Server encryption software njRAT+Bifrost

What the hell is this?

Don't just post links to random things, some explanation on what this is and how it is used for would be nice.

The links don't even function as your mediafire account is not validated.

Re: how to hack webserver's database ?

Goatboy is right, just make sure whatever version of MySQL you are running has no publicly known vulnerabilities. Look over your configuration files and make sure everything looks sound. Make sure you sanatize and input that is passed to the database. That's really about all you can do to make sure ...
