Whatever you enter into the box is put in place of <user input>. Now, design the rest of the command to work as if that code is being run on the command line (*Nix).

Chances are you aren't actually submitting the values you want. Try using inline javascript or another tool to change the values you need.

Learn about how to make forms in HTML, and what they do. Hell, try writing your own.

Once you do, investigate the Basic 1 page further, specifically around the password form.

Ok so I solved Basic 5 the same exact way I solved basic 4. This is common. 4 can be solved in a technically simpler way. i did not use any javascript in level five. This tool is written and uses JS to edit pages. You just didn't have to do it yourself, although this is a good challenge for further...
