Staying silent vs asking

I'm facing this problem a lot lately. Whenever I'm trying to find an answer to a question or find out how something works I have to decide whether to just do some research on my own or ask for instance on this forum. I think that the best thing to do in this situation would be to contact facebook's support and ask them why is your site blocked. If there isn't any real reason to b...

I really, really hoped that it would turn out to be easier. But I'll try doing what you guys suggested. Thanks for you help.

So I came into possession of this thing lately: http://i.imgur.com/Bc4fWdQ.jpg?1 The person who gave it to me said that it is used for gathering data from water meters at his workplace, they've changed to something better and now it's just trash. ...

Re: Any polyglots in the house?

I'd say that I'm only fluent in two languages currently. Beside my native language I can only speak and think in English. Although I didn't really ever have any chance to talk with anybody who wasn't from my country to check how good I actually am. During my education I've been learning German for 9...

Re: PicoCTF

I have never done anything like this before and would feel bad to jump in to it with you two already so far ahead. Especially since it is an award based system and you guys deserve the credit for how far you have gotten. I've thought the same. But you can create your own team and go alone. That's w...

Re: PicoCTF

This looks fun. But beginner doesn't mean "knows nothing about this stuff", right?

Re: Basic Mission 9

Somebody asked this earlier but no one explained it. Why's the script looking for "<--" when HTML comments (and SSI directives) start with "<!--"? So what's the point of searching for something that would get interpreted as normal text?
