Re: Wifi Router capcity

For something like that, you'll want to buy a router which has enterprise options. If you put a router in enterprise mode users will authenticate with an authentication server with their own set of credentials. You'll need to setup an authentication server to make this work, usually a device seperat...

Re: Humans need not apply

I can see it now. Corporate Executive #1: Well, we've fired our entire workforce and replaced them with robots! Operating costs have plumetted, our profits are sky rocketing, we'll be rich! Corporate Executive #2: Fantastic work! I see no way this could possibly backfire! *Pops open the champagne* 1...

Re: So where should I start?

What cyberdrain said. Also, if you're looking for a programming language to start learning, I would suggest python. It's a simple to learn, powerful language. After that, I would suggest learning c/c++ if you want to start hacking hacking software. As for time, you can "learn" a language i...

Re: Tracing an IP Address

As far as I'm aware, the only way to get an exact street address is to contact an ISP. Problem is, to my knowledge, you need a subpoena/warrant for an ISP to give you those records.

If you're trying to find someone's street address, facebook/twitter is probably a better source.

Re: Rosetta Comet "Sings"

In space, no one can hear you scream. Apparently, this rule doesn't apply to comets. :P

Really weird sound, I actually really like it.

Well, that's terrifying. Speaking out against the government is now a crime worthy of having your reputation destroyed. Freedom of speech; talk about whatever you like, as long as it isn't about the government.

Re: My first c program

That could work! Try setting it up so the program checks if the input is a valid operator (+,-,*,/). If the operator is valid, you could try Ninjex's solution and pass whatever num1 and num2 are to a specific function. Something you should keep in mind; what happens if the user inputs more than thre...

Re: Your favorite online learning source

The best resource I've found for learning really anything computer related is Google. :P I think a lot of the people here learned by just exploring code other people wrote, looking up online references for stuff they didn't understand, and gradually building an in-depth understanding of what they we...
