Re: Gathering info on a computer user without social engineering

I didn't know you can actually do that without social engineer. I'm not a pro hacker, I'm a noob trying to learn from time to time. What are the limitations though? I mean, is it just the location and ISP that you can find out with someone's IP? I'm pretty scared with what's happening online especia...

Re: Have you ever received a phone call like this?

It appears to me as one of the thousands of telemarketers. Just try checking on your call logs online though.

Re: Call Tracking

The easiest way is log in to your account and browse through your call history. Make sure to write down the exact time so you can check it along with the time stamps.

Re: Blocked number

Yeah it would definitely be in the company's database. I've worked in a phone company and we used to have all the call logs with time stamps on them. It wouldn't be given that easily though.

He gave me a good laugh man. I can't believe you're actually in a hacking forum and you're confused between a mobo and video card. WTH is that RAM with GHz on it? LOL. You made my day.

Re: laptops

Go for an HP with at least i3 or an i7 if you're not budget conscious. It's definitely a good catch and I didn't have any bad experience with HP.

Re: Better to leave computer on or not?

Let's just put it this way, if you don't need to leave it ON then turn it off. Even machines need to rest. You wouldn't want to protect your hard disk and end up burning your cpu because of excessive heat.
