say it aint so

HTS is sending me nonsensical emails. I got about 6 emails from HTS on January 8th (shows how often I check my email) informing me I have new private messages from Dredric1. I go I check out my message list on HTS and all I have are the three old messages from our conversation back in April. I check...

Mail server spoofing

I had this crazy idea at dinner just now but I don't know if it is possible. Could I theoretically embed a server side script in a to line of an email? Does anyone know much about mail servers? Anybody have any useful links? Any help is appreciated.

Re: im hoping to upgrade my comp to a gaming/hacking comp

generally speaking emachines are pieces of shit. Figure out how much you want to spend or a frame rate you would consider acceptable. If you don't make some kind of limits in the beginning you could wind up spending way more than you should. High end computer parts becomes a game of diminishing retu...

Re: Where to learn networking online

good advice man

to trick to learning online is to know what exactly it is you are trying to learn. These suggestions make figuring that out a lot easier. I will be coming back to this thread for awhile

Re: Physics Mind Bender

If you like consider an ion stream or something. The important thing is that we still have electric field force to consider and it doesn't cancel like in a wire.

You might be on to something with using maxwell's equations though that is not the approach I used.

Re: Physics Mind Bender

its not quantum physics. the answer is subtle. really though all you need to do is google the relevant equations and do some very basic algebra, or you could use some slightly more advanced theories to explain what is going on verbaly. Like hacking there are many approaches to solve the puzzle

Physics Mind Bender

In electrical systems we know that current produces a magnetic field. If you have two parallel wires carrying DC current in the same direction they will attract each other with magnetism. A moving charge is the same thing as current. In fact current is a result of moving charges. We know that moving...
