Re: HTS Needs to Stop Sucking

When it comes to meetings and lectures and pretty much anything else, IRC is the worst communication medium you could possibly choose. I can't speak for meetings, but in regards to lectures I stick by the post I made earlier (amidst the jumbled ranting) Along those lines, I like the idea of making ...

Re: Req: Clean up general announcements, stickies

Yeah, I have to agree with this. It would be nice to see a reply in the second staff application thread though - before it gets locked or removed.

Re: Play a DVD on the WII

Tremor makes a good point. I hacked my Wii for homebrew applications and I can tell you from experience that if you don't know what you're doing, it can be very time consuming. Since this wasn't my first time hacking a console, it only took me a couple hours - and I was able to disable updates from ...

AS3 Frustrations - Eval()

In a recent project of mine, I came to find that AS3 does not have an eval() function. AS2 used to, but it didn't work in the way eval() should. AS is supposed to be similar to Javascript, but this is one of the differences that I've found - and it's become somewhat frustrating. Apparently the only ...

Re: Reading from Lists

It's an ASP script, so you need to send it the right data to get the codes. First, it needs the dept. If you look in the html, you'll see each dept. has a value: <option value="957">ACA-COLLEGE STDT SUCCESS</option> You first need to get all of those values. You than post the v...

Re: HTS Needs to Stop Sucking

Fantastic! I just wish I hadn't heard this before. You'll have to forgive me if my faith is less than ideal. However, I joined the HTS community a good 6 years ago and I'm still here - so I guess that says something. This time, I'm working to make myself personally invested in HTS' improvement as we...

Re: Flash Animation - General Info

Hmm, alright. Seeing as there does seem to be interest in this topic, I'm planning a presentation right now. This one will cover some basics and move on to security related issues. If the presentation is accepted well, I'll see about making other more in depth presentations. Thank you for the respon...

Re: What add-on do you use?

Dethdude335, I've been searching for a google chrome equivalent to tamper data. Sofar there doesn't seem to be one. And unfortunately the latest firefox version of tamper data has a nasty bug that crashes firefox when dealing with flash content. Chrome does have something similar to firebug already ...
