Has anyone else had issues with the login page kicking them off completely from HTS when entering a # symbol as part of a SQL injection? I have completed the mission but was confused to why this was happening.

Can someone PM me so that I may discuss my theories and attempted solutions without providing any spoilers? Thanks.

Yes, this challenge still works correctly; this thread has waaaay more information than you need in it, just begin at the start & read through.

Not sure why you're experiencing this, I had a try inserting hashes into the fields & it worked as expected (told me to fuck off).

It says that you have to login as an admin, but as far as I can tell, there's nothing at all that lets you login. I dont even know where to begin on this one.

Q: Need help tweaking/hacking a java-based like/dislike butt

Sorry if this question doesn't belong here but this is the only place I found for questions and I don't even know how to make a thread here, so , ... sorry in advance if this is too out there ...
Hi, new noob member here, I'm not a hacker and the most I can do is tweaking stuff in console or Element Inspections.
I need some help with a website that's basically an opinion post one where people can answer to your posts and there's a like and dislike button on each one as well. So I was in an argument with someone over politics and this person on the site hacks the like button under his/her post (to like 350 likes instantly!!!) which was a total cheat since everyone online (about 27) had already disliked the racist/troll post. So I want to learn how to tweak the like or dislike button just in case (they've been doing that on many troll posts they've sent there already). The site's like/dislike buttons uses JavaScript I think (it has a .js format) and it's browser based meaning that if you dislike/like a post you can't do it again on tabs in that browser (unless you delete your entire history and reopen the page) and this is what shows in the Element Inspection when examining the dislike button:
<img id="dislike165480" src="dislike.jpg" alt="dislike" onclick="dislike(165480, 0);">
and this under that one:
<span id="dislikecount165480">0</span>

and so far I managed to change the number once on my screen but it wasn't real and as soon as I refreshed it went back to 0.I'm also on Firefox. Any help please on how to hack or do whatever this troll is doing to the like/dislike button on this site or even where to start to look for clues on how to do that? I'm sure if this person arguing could do it, it must be easily doable, I just have no clue how ...
Please please help?
