Network Security (Blue Team)

What's the best way to setup a home network? Why should I care about BGP?

Hey all,

Im more interested in the blue team side of network security but the only thing that I seem to find is a bunch of red team. The things I did find were basic update firewall or change the default password stuff. Can anyone point me in the right direction regarding techniques or the basics of blue team? Thanks!

Hi Foxcraft. Sorry for the late reply, I've been gone for a while. Any way, I'm actually a network security engineer doing blue team stuff. A few of my favorite resources are the SANS top 20 Critical Security Controls, OWASP's top 10 lists and there are a litany of others. What exactly are you looking for? Stopping web app exploitation? Phishing? MITM?

Let me know and I'll be glad to help!
